About The Scholarship

PM Yasasvi Post-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students, Andaman and Nicobar is an opportunity offered by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, to provide financial assistance to students belonging to the Other Backwards Classes (OBC) category who are pursuing higher education after Class 10.

Eligibility

Award

Be an Indian national
Be domiciled in Andaman and Nicobar
Belong to the Other Backwards Classes (OBC)
Be studying a post-matriculation or post-secondary course in a recognised institution/college/university (as specified in the terms & conditions section below)
Have passed matriculation or higher secondary or any higher level examination from a recognised University or Board of Secondary Education
Have an annual parent(s)/guardian(s) income of not more than ₹2,50,000 from all sources

Required Documents

Mode of Apply

A passport-size photograph of the student
One attested copy of the academic transcripts, including certificates, diplomas, degrees, etc.
A valid caste certificate duly signed by an authorised Revenue Officer (RO), not below the rank of Tehsildar
An income certificate parent(s)/guardian(s) issued by the authority as decided by the state government
A receipt in acknowledgement of the scholarship in the previous year (if applicable)
