About The Scholarship
Telangana Pre-Matric Scholarships For SC/ST/BC/Disabled Welfare is an initiative of the Government of Telangana for students from Classes 5 to 10. The aim of this scheme is to minimize the incidence of drop-out, especially during the transition from the elementary to the secondary stage and improve the participation of SC students in the Pre-Matric stage

Eligibility
Award
- Be a domicile of Telangana state
- Be a student from class 5 to 10
- Be a regular and full-time student studying in a Government school or in a school run by local bodies such as Mandal Praja Parishad, Zilla Praja Parishad, Municipalities/Municipal Corporations or any school aided by the Government
- Have an attendance of 75% at the end of each quarter
- Have anual family income lower than: INR 2 lakh for SC/ST category INR 1.5 lakh for BC, EBC and minority welfare category of a rural family INR 2 lakh for BC, EBC and minority welfare category of an urban family INR 1 lakh for disabled welfare category
- Upto ₹ 1820 per academic year
