About The Scholarship
Umbrella Scheme Pre-Matric ST Scholarship Class 9 and 10, Tripura is an opportunity provided by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, for Scheduled Tribe (ST) students in Tripura studying in Class 9 and 10. The scholarship aims to support the education of these students to reduce the incidence of drop-out, especially in the transition from the elementary to the secondary stage.

Eligibility
Award
- Be domiciled in Tripura
- Belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category
- Be a regular full-time student studying Class 9 and 10 in a government school, or a school recognised by the government, or a Central/State Board of Secondary Education
- Have an annual parent(s)/guardian(s) income not exceeding ₹2,50,000 from all sources
- Upto 1000/-

- One attested copy of certificates, diplomas, degrees, etc.
- A valid caste certificate duly signed by an authorised Revenue Officer (RO), not below the rank of Tehsildar
- An annual income declaration by the self-employed parent(s)/guardian(s)
- A receipt in acknowledgement of the scholarship in the previous year (if applicable)
