ONGC Scholarship For SC/ST Category UG 2025-26
Eligibility
Award
- Age Limit Applicant must be maximum 30 years of age as on 1 August 2025.
- The gross annual family income from all sources must not exceed ₹4,50,000 per annum.
- Male / Female / Transgender (Others) candidates are eligible to apply.
- Scholarship is applicable only to Full-Time / Regular students.
- Applicable only for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students.
- Must be issued by the competent District Revenue Authority not below the rank of Tehsildar. If the certificate is not in Hindi or English, a translated copy must be submitted. Self-certified caste certificate must be verified by the Head of the Institution where the applicant is studying.
- Engineering & MBBS (UG Courses): Minimum 60% marks in Class 12. Postgraduate Courses (Geology / Geophysics / MBA): Minimum 60% marks in Graduation. Minimum OGPA/CGPA of 6.0 on a 10-point grading scale.
- Must be issued by the competent District Revenue Authority not below the rank of Tehsildar. If the certificate is not in Hindi or English, a translated copy must be submitted. Self-certified caste certificate must be verified by the Head of the Institution where the applicant is studying.
- Applicants must register on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) and obtain a One Time Registration (OTR) Number.
- OTR is a unique identification number valid throughout the academic career.
- OTR Number is mandatory for applying on the ONGC Scholarship Portal.
- The Apply button will be enabled only after entering: OTR Number Aadhaar Number / EID Number
- ₹48,000 per year (₹4,000 per month) per student

- Non-Mandatory Document PAN Card Conditional Mandatory Document Aadhaar Card Mandatory if OTR is generated using Aadhaar. Otherwise, EID Number may be used.
- Subject-Wise Marks Entry Applicants must provide subject-wise marks details for: Class 10 Class 12 Graduation (if applicable) Incomplete academic information will prevent submission of the application.
- Bank Account Guidelines Applicant must have a standard Savings Bank Account. Minor bank accounts are not accepted. Applications with minor accounts will be rejected.
- College Verification Applicants must: Ensure their college is included in the approved college list. Download, complete, and upload: College Declaration Form Applicant Self-Undertaking Form Both documents must be properly filled, verified/attested, and uploaded in the document upload section.
- Applicant Declaration By submitting the application, the applicant confirms that: All registration guidelines have been read and understood. A valid savings bank account is available. The college is included in the approved list. All submitted information and documents are correct.
