About The Scholarship
Manohar Parrikar Goa Scholars Scheme is an opportunity provided by the Department of Education, Art, and Culture, Government of Goa, to students of Goa pursuing higher studies. The scholarship aims to encourage meritorious students to pursue quality education in and outside of India by providing financial aid in the form of scholarships. The selected candidates will receive a scholarship of ₹8,00,000 for study in India and USD 25,000 for study abroad.

Eligibility
Award
- Be an Indian national
- Not exceed the age of 35 years as of 1st January 2025
- Be a domicile of Goa for a minimum of 15 years OR
- Be of Goan origin and has pursued academic studies as a resident in Goa for a minimum of 7 years
- Have passed the qualifying examination from an institution located preferably in Goa
- Have scored a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying degree examination
- Have obtained a confirmed admission in postgraduate or doctoral courses in any discipline during the scholarship period
- For Study in India: ₹8,00,000
