Tapas Chakrabarti
Founder & Director
He is a passionate advocate for social entrepreneurship, dedicated to addressing social issues through innovative social business models. He holds an M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from Visva-Bharati, Shantiniketan, where he honed his communication skills and developed a keen interest in social impact.
His commitment to transformative change was further reinforced during his tenure as a Gandhi Fellow in rural Rajasthan, where he worked tirelessly to enhance school development programs. This experience deepened his understanding of grassroots challenges and solutions, shaping his approach to community-driven development.
With several years of professional experience, he has successfully managed welfare projects in education, livelihood, and health across national-level development organizations such as KSWA’s Yuva Parivartan and Smile Foundation. His strategic insights and hands-on leadership have contributed to meaningful improvements in these critical areas.
He was also awarded a prestigious Summer Fellowship from IIM Udaipur, in collaboration with Duke University, USA, which provided him with a global perspective on social entrepreneurship and development.

He is a dedicated social development enthusiast who has been passionately working on community development projects for several years. He holds an M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from Visva-Bharati, Shantiniketan, where he developed a strong foundation in communication and media, enhancing his ability to effectively engage with and support communities.
Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to improving the lives of those in need.
