Time of Application
Brief Prepration for the Test
July.the admission is via the WBJEE counselling mostly; ergo you must register for the WBJEE early in the year (typically Jan/Feb), and then apply for counselling for seats at HIT
Focus strongly on your 10 + 2 Science subjects—Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry (or the one you choose) since fundamentals matter. Practice past years’ WBJEE question papers and timed mock tests. This helps with format, speed and accuracy. References indicate HIT’s closing ranks (e.g., for certain branches) showing competition is significant. Ensure your board exam performance is strong—since eligibility and merit depend on your 10 + 2 scores as well.
