Aliah University has a long legacy (originally the Calcutta Madrasah College, founded in 1780) and now is an autonomous, UGC/AICTE/NCTE approved institution under the West Bengal Government’s Minority Affairs & Madrasah Education Department. It offers a wide range of programmes (UG, PG, B.Tech, B.Sc, B.A, MCA, MBA, etc) across arts, science, engineering, management and professional courses. For UG programmes (e.g., B.A., B.Sc., B.Tech) the candidate must have passed 10 + 2 (or equivalent) with required subjects. For example for B.Sc Nursing: Physics, Chemistry & Biology in 10+2. For B.Tech/BCA: Must have 10+2 with Physics & Mathematics and possibly Chemistry (or other approved subject). One source says “studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of at least 100 marks each in 10+2 level and have secured at least 50 % overall in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

The online application was planned to begin from ~10 March 2025 (tentatively) for various UG, PG & B.Ed programmes. last date 25 June 2025, exam 13 July 2025.
Identify the subject mix for your chosen programme (for e.g., for B.Tech: Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics; for B.Sc/B.A: relevant subject + general aptitude). Practice previous years’ AUAT papers (the website lists previous years’ question papers) to understand question pattern, difficulty level, time allotment. Focus on strengthening your core concepts in 10+2 (or undergraduate) subjects — good board performance enhances your profile.
