- According to the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) prospectus, the CET is a 3-hour entrance examination consisting of 200 questions. Physics (66 questions) and Chemistry (66 questions) are compulsory, while candidates choose one optional subject—Mathematics, Biology, Agriculture, or Home Science. The optional section carries 68 questions for Biology/Agriculture/Home Science or 34 questions of 2 marks each for Mathematics. Each correct answer carries 1 mark, with ¼ mark deducted for an incorrect answer; the Mathematics section follows double weightage. The question paper is in English and is based on the 10+2 syllabus of the Punjab School Education Board
