- UGAT conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA), is a Paper-Based Test (PBT) consisting of objective-type multiple-choice questions. For programmes such as BBA, BCA, Integrated MBA and other undergraduate courses, the exam includes 130 questions to be completed in 2 hours. The sections are English Language (40 questions), Numerical and Data Analysis (30 questions), Reasoning and Intelligence (30 questions), and General Knowledge (30 questions). Candidates applying for BHM have two additional sections—Service Aptitude (25 questions) and Scientific Aptitude (25 questions)—making the total 180 questions, with an additional 1 hour for these sections. Each question carries 1 mark, and negative marking is applicable for incorrect answers.
