Brief Prepration for the Test

- The MHT-CET is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, for admission to undergraduate engineering, technology, pharmacy and related courses. The examination is conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. For PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) candidates, the test consists of 150 questions for 200 marks: Physics and Chemistry have 50 questions each, while Mathematics has 50 questions, with Mathematics carrying 2 marks per question and Physics and Chemistry carrying 1 mark per question. The duration is 180 minutes. For PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) candidates, there are 200 questions for 200 marks, with 50 questions each from Physics and Chemistry and 100 questions from Biology, and the duration is 180 minutes. There is no negative marking, and the syllabus is based on the Maharashtra State Board Class 11 and 12 curriculum, with greater weightage given to Class 12 topics.
