The main entrance exam for many programmes is SAAT (SOA Admission Test). Pattern & preparation tips: Duration: About 2 hours (120 minutes) for SAAT. Subjects usually include relevant 10+2 level subjects depending on the programme (for engineering: Physics + Maths + Chemistry, etc). Also includes general aptitude, reasoning, English language sections in some cases. Strategy: Revise your core 10+2 subject syllabus thoroughly, especially Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology/PCB as required. Practice MCQs under timed conditions; work on accuracy + speed.
