- Skilled at writing and visual presentation
- Bachelor’s degree (any stream), preferably in Art History / Museology / Applied Arts; many curators hold a Master’s or PG diploma in Museology or related fields

- Class XII → Bachelor’s → Master’s / PG Diploma in Museology / Heritage Management → internships at museums/galleries → roles as assistant curator, coordinator, then curator/manager
