About The Scholarship
“Medhavi Putra/Putri Chhatravritti Yojana” is a Scholarship Scheme by the Department of Labour, Employment, Training & Skill Development Govt of Jharkhand. This is a 100% State Sponsored Scheme. Only the residents/domicile of the state of Jharkhand can apply to this scheme. The applications for this scheme are accepted online through the official website of the department (http://shramadhan.jharkhand.gov.in). The scheme provides scholarships of up to ₹ 50,000/- to the children of the registered workers.

Eligibility
Award
- The applicant should be a domicile in the state of Jharkhand
- The applicant should have passed the previous examination with atleast Second Division or 45% marks in any examination (except Class 1st to 5th) OR have got admitted/enrolled in the course on the basis of a competitive examination.
- The applicant should be the child of a Worker registered with the 'Jharkhand Building and Other Construction Worker Welfare Board (JBOCWW Board)'
- The scholarship can be availed by upto two children of the Registered Worker.
- For the students of Class 1st to 8th, a scholarship of ₹ 5,000/-.For the students of Class 9th to 12th and inter-level or equivalent courses, a scholarship of ₹ 10,000/-.For the students of undergraduate and postgraduate level or equivalent courses (including diploma) (excluding engineering and medical), a scholarship of ₹ 20,000/-.In engineering and medical graduate-level medical and engineering courses, a scholarship of ₹ 50,000/-.
