About The Scholarship
Under this scheme, free laptops are provided to meritorious students of the SC/ST communities who have successfully passed the Class X examination conducted by the Goa Board.
Providing free Laptops to meritorious students belonging to SC/ST Communities
Eligibility
Award
- The student should be born in the State of Goa, or have at least one parent born in Goa.
- The student must belong to ST or SC community.
- The student is required to pass Class X examination of the Goa Board in the first attempt.
- The student has to score at least 70% aggregate marks in the Class X examination of the Goa Board.
- The student should be schooling in the taluka in which he/she is considered meritorious.
- In case of a male student, he should feature in the Top 5 among the Class X male (ST/SC) students of the taluka.
- In case of a female student, she should feature in the Top 5 among the Class X female (ST/SC) students of the taluka.
- Free laptops are provided to meritorious students of the SC/ST communities
Required Documents
Mode of Apply
- An attested copy of Caste Certificate issued by the competent Authority of Government of Goa
- Birth certificate of the applicant or Birth Certificate of any one parent, issued by the competent authority of Government of Goa.
- Mark Sheet issued by Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education
- Photo ID proof of applicant (eg. Aadhaar Card/School ID card etc.)
- Student's Apaar card
- Consent form (PDF to be downloaded and uploaded by student)
- ID Proof of Parent displaying Signature (eg. PAN card/Passport/Driving License etc.)
