About The Scholarship

Under this scheme, free laptops are provided to meritorious students of the SC/ST communities who have successfully passed the Class X examination conducted by the Goa Board.

Eligibility

Award

The student should be born in the State of Goa, or have at least one parent born in Goa.
The student must belong to ST or SC community.
The student is required to pass Class X examination of the Goa Board in the first attempt.
The student has to score at least 70% aggregate marks in the Class X examination of the Goa Board.
The student should be schooling in the taluka in which he/she is considered meritorious.
In case of a male student, he should feature in the Top 5 among the Class X male (ST/SC) students of the taluka.
In case of a female student, she should feature in the Top 5 among the Class X female (ST/SC) students of the taluka.

Required Documents

Mode of Apply

An attested copy of Caste Certificate issued by the competent Authority of Government of Goa
Birth certificate of the applicant or Birth Certificate of any one parent, issued by the competent authority of Government of Goa.
Mark Sheet issued by Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education
Photo ID proof of applicant (eg. Aadhaar Card/School ID card etc.)
Student's Apaar card
Consent form (PDF to be downloaded and uploaded by student)
ID Proof of Parent displaying Signature (eg. PAN card/Passport/Driving License etc.)
