About The Scholarship
Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students, Delhi is an initiative of the Department for the Welfare of SC/ST/OBC/Minority, Government of NCT Delhi to the OBC category students studying in Classes 1 to 10 in Government schools.
Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students, Delhi
Eligibility
Award
- Be an Indian citizen
- Be a domicile of Delhi
- Belong to the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category
- Be studying in Classes 9 or 10 in Government schools
- Have passed the previous class
- Have at least 75% attendance in the previous year
- Have an annual family income of less than ₹2,50,000 per annum from all sources
- Day Scholars: ₹100 per month (class 1 to 10, minimum 60% attendance in previous year)
- Hostelers: ₹500 per month (class 3 to 10)

- Caste certificate in the name of student or father issued by SDM/Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), GNCT of Delhi
- Mark sheet of the previous academic year
- Income certificate issued by competent authorities (SDM/Deputy Commissioner of Revenue, GNCTD)
- Domicile certificate by the competent authority (Government of NCT of Delhi)
