About The Scholarship
The Rising Scholar Scholarship is a nationwide initiative launched by the Shiksharatan India Foundation to nurture and recognize talented students studying in Class 11 and Class 12 across India. The scholarship is designed to identify students’ creative, analytical, and intellectual abilities while offering financial support, mentorship, career counseling, and national-level recognition.
Open to students from Arts, Commerce, and Science streams, the program aims to empower deserving learners and help them achieve academic excellence and long-term career growth.

Eligibility
Award
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of India.
- Students must be currently enrolled in Class 11 or Class 12.
- Open to students from recognized schools across India.
- Applicable for Arts, Commerce, and Science streams.
- Boards accepted: CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, IB, and IGCSE.
- Students must score at least 60% in Phase 1 to qualify for Phase 2.
- 1st Rank: Rewards worth 4,50,000, Gold Medal & Certificate
- 2nd Rank: Rewards worth 4,00,000, Silver Medal & Certificate
- 3rd Rank: Rewards worth 3,75,000, Bronze Medal & Certificate Other Rank Awards (Class 11):
- 4th – 10th Rank: 50,000 + Certificate
- 11th – 50th Rank: 40,000 + Certificate
- 51st – 200th Rank: 10,000 + Certificate
- 201st – 500th Rank: 5,000 + Certificate
- 501st – 1000th Rank: 2,000 + Certificate

Mode of Apply
- Students securing admission in diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and PG diploma courses at a recognized Indian institution are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must be resident Indians.
- Applicants must have secured admission to a higher education course through an entrance test/merit-based selection process after completing HSC (Class 12 or equivalent).
