About The Scholarship
Open Merit Scholarships in Junior College, Maharashtra is an initiative of the School Education and Sports Department, Government of Maharashtra, aimed at providing financial assistance to Class 11 and 12 students. The scheme is designed to motivate and encourage these students to pursue higher education. Selected students will receive a monthly scholarship of ₹50 for a period of 10 months.

Eligibility
Award
- Be a domicile of Maharashtra
- Be studying in Class 11 or 12 in a recognised institution/school
- Have secured a minimum of 60% marks in the SSC examination on the first attempt
- Selected students will receive ₹50 per month for 10 months (₹500 per annum).
