About The Scholarship

Umbrella Scheme for Education of ST Children Post-Matric Scholarship, Arunachal Pradesh 2025-26 is an initiative of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India to provide financial assistance to the students studying in Class 11 and above. This scheme covers professional, technical, non-professional, and non-technical courses at various levels including correspondence courses covering distance and continuing education.

Eligibility

Award

Be a citizen of India
Be a domicile of Arunachal Pradesh
Belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category
Have passed the Class 10/12 or higher secondary examination from a recognised university or board
Have an annual family income of less than ₹2,50,000
Hold a valid account in a scheduled bank linked to Aadhaar and a mobile number
Not be receiving any other scholarship

Required Documents

Mode of Apply

A passport-size photograph of the student
Domicile certificate
Academic transcripts of previous qualifying examinations including certificates, diplomas, degrees, etc.
ST certificate duly signed by an authorised Revenue Officer (RO), not below the rank of Tehsildar
An income certificate parent(s)/guardian(s) issued by the authority as decided by the state government
A receipt in acknowledgement of the scholarship in the previous year (if applicable)
Disability certificate (if applicable)
