The Universal Postal Union (UPU) is organizing the 54th International Letter-Writing Competition for Young People in . This year, the competition is held in collaboration with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to raise awareness about the conservation of seas and oceans. Since its inception in 1971, the UPU’s competition has encouraged young participants aged 9-15 years to enhance their writing skills by composing a letter based on a given theme. It aims to promote the importance of postal services, improve literacy, and foster creativity while strengthening global friendships
