Textile designers work on patterns, yarn selection, weave/knit structures and fabric development for fashion, home textiles and industrial textiles. They may work in fabric mills, textile houses, fashion brands, printing units or as freelance surface designers. Courses include B.Des (Textile Design) and specialized diplomas.
